Internal Rhymes & Assonance
Drop rhymes mid-bar to add density and momentum without losing clarity.
Internal rhyme
A rhyme that lands inside a bar instead of (or in addition to) the end. 'I spit the script with the grip of a mystic' has three rhymes inside one line.
Assonance
Repeating vowel sounds without full rhymes. 'Cold smoke rolls slow' uses the long-O to create texture without rhyming.
Use sparingly
Density is a tool, not a rule. Too many internals back-to-back can muddy the message. Place them where you want the listener to lean in.
